Amir Kaltgrad, associate attorney at Nachshin & Langlois, LLP, has an extensive legal background, and handles matters in various areas of family law including: divorce/legal separation; custody; cohabitation; premarital and postnuptial agreements; and domestic partnerships.

Mr. Kaltgrad began his career as a legal assistant and has since had considerable experience with several major law firms in the Los Angeles area. His prior employment with a civil litigation firm has enhanced his ability to successfully handle complex family law matters as they relate to civil issues, such as the division of real property and assets. His hard work and practical problem-solving skills enable him to achieve equitable solutions on many difficult cases. As lead attorney and member of several legal teams, Mr Kaltgrad has successfully represented clients in large class actions, dispute arbitrations and civil matters. His exemplary work resulted in his being named Public Counsel’s Consumer Law Project’s Advocate of the Year for 2008.

Mr. Kaltgrad graduated summa cum laude from University of California at Los Angeles in 2002. He received departmental honors for his research thesis on jury selection and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Honors. Mr. Kaltgrad received his Juris Doctorate in 2007 from University of Southern California Law School, where he received the honor of a USC Merit Scholarship and USC Law School Summer Fellowship. Among his many contributions to USC Law School organizations, he served on the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal staff and was a member of the Entertainment Law Society and the Jewish Law Students Association.

Mr. Kaltgrad is an active member of the State Bar of California and was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Central District of California; and U.S. District Court, Southern District Court of California. He is also a member of the American Bar and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.
